Introduction
We are interested in understanding how the brain works. We use state-of-the-art experimental techniques:
1) molecular/genetic methods in rodents
2) quantitative models to analyze data
3) studying more complex adaptive cognitive functions using non-human primates
We use machine learning techniques to figure out the meaning of our data.
Research Interest
- Reinforcement learning and decision making
- dopamine and other neuromodulators
